Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Georgia

Signing a Judgement

There was a suit against me and my husband in Superior Court by a Builder in Georgia in 2003. The jury trial was 4 days and took place in 2004. The jury made a decision and awarded us just attorney fees. The judge has not signed the papers, so the judgement is not final. We have paid our attorney fees until the trial and are awaiting the court to issue a final judgement to pay the balance. Our attorney's have written the judge and now it's been over 1 year and no signing has taken place. How long can this judge wait? Is there a time limit?
