Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
AT&T came to my house to install uverse tv, Internet, phone and etc. The technician drill into the house right below our electrical meter box and hit the main wire which started a fire. We had to leave our home (in a hotel) for seven days. AT&T is paying fir all repair costs, luring expenses and incidentals. My question is can we ask for payment for our inconvenience? My husband works from our home and wasn't able to for seven days and it was very stressful having to leave our hone for seven days.

You generally can't sue for inconvenience. Given that they paid all the actual damages, here is how I would approach it. Talk to a high up person (above the customer service level) and see if they would also comp you for at least a few months of free service (or free premium channels). They likely would do that if you asked.
