Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Auto Contract

I test drove Dodge Charger SXT in 2007 I liked it so I wanted to purchase it. Got back to dealership to do paper work salesman says the car needs work will be able to pickup next week. So we completed all paperwork that day they gave me a loaner car similar to the SXT a SE same color. The next week comes I try to get my car they say its not ready. Next week comes the car has been sold they tell me to check the vin number on my contract it matches the car that I have now but It clearly states SXT not SE on my contract. I tell them I am going to return car because this is not fair. They say I will have to pay for it anyway. They will sue me and garnish my wages. I have been trying for over a year to get the car that I agreed to pay for but to no avail. My contract clearly states SXT but yet i'm stuck in a car that cost $12000 car but paying $20000. All because of deception!

Re: Auto Contract

You didn't ask a question in your post but you need to go see a lawyer and show him the contract. In waiting so long, you may have harmed your legal rights, but there's no way to know what you can do without reading the contract. In some cases you may need a letter, or even a lawsuit from a lawyer. In others you may be referred to a state agency to assist you.
