Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

My car is in the Fry's electronic shop to get the keyless remote installed. They couldn't start the car after the installation. I believe they triiggered the anti-theft system and the car got locked. The manager wants me to toll the car to the dealer to get it fixed. He said "if the dealer found it is out problem, we will reimbuse you the money?" What should I do? Should I trust him? What if after the dealer fix the problem and they don't pay me back? The car is still in the shop and I have not taken it back. Thanks!

I would tell him to return the car to the original condition and return you money in full. If they won't, take it to the dealership (where it should have been taken in the first place -- was it worth saving the few bucks now?!?!?) to see what's going on. If the dealership states that Fry's is at fault for the issue, get it in writing from the dealership and present it to Fry's in writing. If Fry refuses to pay you back for any work the dealership has to do, hire a lawyer and SUE THEM.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******

Have the manager write down this promise and then let them tow the car, at their expense, to the dealer. Be sure to have them agree in advance to pay the dealer.

If the breach any of this, sue them.
