Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Dealership car theft

I purchased a vehicle and traded in my old car. I drove the new one for 3 weeks and they called and said the deal fell through, and I needed to bring their car back. They sold the old car however, without paying it off. They have spent almost a month lying to me and being rude trying to get the old car back to us.They've basically stolen my old car. What can I do?

Violation(s)

From what information you have provided, it seems the dealership may have violated some laws. I need to know a bit more information in order to help you. Which county do you live in? Which dealership did you purchase the vehicle from? Do you still have the pertinent documents concerning the sale and trade-in? You can retain an attorney to pursue the case in court, or you can go to small claims court. If you do choose to retain an attorney, it is likely that the attorney may be able to do it on a contingency basis, where you will not have to pay the attorney any fees. You need to contact an attorney to discuss the case.
