Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Mazda 3 radio

I recently purchased a new Mazda vehicle. On the window sticker, listed under standard equipment, it says auxiliary audio input jack. After purchasing the vehicle, I learned that this jack has been disabled since the car came with satellite radio. After calling customer service, they offered to pay for half the cost of a part that would enable both. They do not feel that it is there responsibility to inform customers that satellite radio will disable the aux. input jack, and they are doing more than what is required. Is their stand correct and would this also fall under a class action law suit since I have checked the message boards and I am not the only one in this situation

Re: Mazda 3 radio

If you still have the window sticker, sue 'em. The fact that they have offered to pay for half the cost indicates that they feel at least some responsibility for having misled you. Check with your local Magistrate Court for info about filing a small claims court case.
