Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

private party repossion

I sold my truck to a friend. He agreed to make payments but has missed the past year of payments. He left the state and moved to West Virgina. I finally tracked him down and he agreed to return the truck. That was 2 months ago. His phone is now disconnected. I have the address where he was living and I am assuming that he is still at that address. I am wanting to just get my truck back.

Re: private party repossion

Although you did not post a particular question, it sounds like you are going to have to file suit to recover your truck. Of course, you will have to find your friend with the truck, which an attorney or PI could do for you.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. My contact information is below. Thank you.
