Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I purchased a 2007 Mercedes C230 and immediately experienced major transmission issues. I contacted the dealership, Don Jackson in Union City GA, and was told it was an intake flap that they repaired. When I returned the check engline was no longer on and it ran better. The following week the problem returned. Don Jackson's GM, Derek Jackson, ingnored several calls from me. I took it to a shop and was told my the tech it is a dealership only fix and the car was definitely sold to me with two known issues, intake issue and faulty transmission. Georgia has no lemon law but is there anything I can do especially with them ignoring me and selling a known problem vehicle. Thanks...

If you bought a vehicle with a warranty, and a warranty issue arises, then yes, they must make repairs.

Otherwise they already have done more for you than they have to. That "AS-IS" sticker is the federal government's warning that means "THIS CAR IS POSSIBLY A LEMON. IF YOU BUY IT WITHOUT AN INDEPENDENT INSPECTION, YOU ARE MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE. AND IF IT BREAKS ONE SECOND AFTER YOU BUY IT, TOUGH LUCK." So in that case you have no remedy and they can and will ignore you.
