Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Never Refunded

I purchased a part from a auto parts website for my car last November, and they sent the wrong part to me. So they told me to send it back and they will send me a refund back up to six weeks . I sent it back but they never sent me a refund back and I kept on calling them and they just said it will be another 14 days. Its been now five months and I never got my money back. What should I do.

Re: Never Refunded

I would get the forms from the small claims court in your county, fill them out and send a copy to them, stating that if the matter is not resolved within X number of days, you will file your action.

If they are part of a large company, write a letter to the corporate headquarters. If they are small, you can take them to small claims court (magistrate court) if they are in Georgia.
