Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Can you sue the lottery for posting incorrect "odds of winning" on their scratcher lottery tickets?

I purchased 6 lottery tickets in consecutive order at $2.00 per ticket. The tickets describe the overall odds of winning as 1:3.96. Not one of the six tickets I purchased was a winner. Do I have grounds to sue the lottery?

Of course not.

And if you do, plan to pay them for a huge legal bill when the judge slaps a penalty for frivolous litigation on you.

My law school advertised that 85% of their students from the class of 2010 secured employment within 9 months of graduation and had an average starting salary of 65k.

The reality is that less than 50% secured jobs and the average starting salary was more around 40k (I'm being very generous with that number). Several students sued the school but were stuck down because they were ruled to be sophisticated consumers and were capable of finding out that law school was a scam.

Likewise, you are a sophisticated consumer that could have readily known that the lottery was just another tax. Right?

So no, no cause of action.
