Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

I am 45 days behind on a loan that has a recently ballooned. The bank who holds the loan calls me nearly 20 times a day and on a daily basis including Saturdays & Sundays. The calls begin promptly at 8am and continue nearly every 30 minutes until 8:30 pm. I am attempting to restructure the loan with the same bank for the past four months. I am told it is taking so long because theyre "swamped" with restructures. In the mean time, they continue to ring my phone several times a day, apply late fees, penalties, etc even though they are aware I do not have the funds to pay off the ballooned loan in full and am attempting to restructure the loan. Lately, I have simply stopped answering the phone. I understand they are trying to collect a debt owed to them. But isn't calling someone as 15 to 20 times per day harassment?

You could fuss at the calls and end up in default, or you could take the calls, ask during the call for a supervisor, and probably start to work something out.
