How do I answer a Summons from a Recovery Agency for a credit card debt? Do I respond at the Courts?

You see a lawyer because you have a serious problem that can end up with your paycheck, home, car and bank account being seized. As a general rule, an answer will not help unless you do not owe the money or have a valid legal defense, but a lawyer can address other options,m such as bankruptcy.

You must act in less than 30 days from receipt of the summons.
