My auto accident claim was settled over a year ago. My medical insurance just sent a letter asking for reimbursement of medical bills they paid. I live in Georgia, FYI. Isn't it to late for them to ask for reimbursement? Doe

No. They can ask for repayment any time. You incurred the bill and you have the responsibility to pay it. This question should be directed to an auto accident attorney but if you have an attorney then you need to talk to your accident attorney as to why this bill was not paid in the settlement.

No, they can collect now. If you used an attorney ask him why this bill was not paid in your settlement, or whether he can negotiate the amount.
