Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

There is an garnishment for me, my lawyer submitted an traverse against the collection agency, prior to that my attorney sent them a letter of counter and they never responded to the attorney, about six months later they filed a garnishment without contacting the attorney, so in the process of gathering information there was a motion hearing for 1-5-16 but my lawyer pushed it back because he was waiting for information from the collection people the new hearing date was 3-1-16 and my question is that, it now says dismissed for want of prosecution, what does that mean and what happens now, there is also a hearing to set the judgement aside. I just want to know if this stops my garnishment
