My two sons and nephew have been falsely arrested for murder in Coweta County. The arrest was base on hearsay. The procecuting attorneys have no evidence to support their claim. Can we file a lawsuit?

Re: arrested for murder

At this point in time, filing a lawsuit should be the least of your worries. Your son and nephew are facing possibly life imprisonment. Generally police officers are immune from lawsuits except in extreme circumstances and falsely arresting someone based on the testimony of others would not qualify as extreme in my opinion. Your family really needs to consider hiring an attorney ASAP to help gather evidence to contradict what the police believe and to help protect your sons/nephews rights. Please feeel free to give me a call and i will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
