Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Back in 2007 I was wrongfully accused of several felony charges. I appeared in court for almost 2years providing evidence of being the wrong individual but the Courts of Cobb Co. were determined to indite me.. In 2009 due to hardship on me and my four kids, I pled guilty to disorderly conduct (reduced to a nonfinger printable crime) and the felony charges were dismissed. I was told after a year the charges could be expunged off my record but now Cobb Co. is saying they can't be..Since then the judge on my case has been removed due to being involved in sex scandles and under the table bribes. Is it possible to have the dismissed felony charges expunged and can I work in the medical field with the dismissed charges on my background?

It is possible, but why would you pay an attorney $ 3500-$5000 to have dismissed charges expunged. Whether you can work in the medical field is a function of will anyone hire you to work in the medical field, not your criminal history.
