I have a battery charge a misd an its my first offence what am i looking at i served 30 days in county jail but bonded out any help would be appreciated

You can spend up to a year in jail, be fined $1000 plusadd on fees,or serve up to a year's probation. You also,with a criminal conviction, may findit very hard to ever get a job. These are consequences that will be affected by one thing - whetheryou get a lawyer. There is a high likelihood that you will do FAR better and have more options with a lawyer than without one.

Furthermore, if it is a family violence batter (with members of your family or person you live(d) with) you will lose your right to bear arms (or be around them)
