Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

What can do legally if someone posed a threat on life by pulling out the gun, cocking it and grabbing my arm to throw me out of their house. I was a invited guest in their home by the assaillant's wife.

What you can do, and should have done at the time, is simple - call the police. Of course, no one here knows all of the facts you left out of the story. For all we know, you did something to instigate the incident and just because you were invited does not mean you have some right to stay indefinitely.

First, you can avoid the assailant's home. Second, you can make a report to the police. In the end, the police will probably not do anything, because you did not think the situation was life threatening enough to call the police when it occurred. See website: www.lawrencelewispc.com

Obviously you never go there again. I assume you called the police and they made an arrest, as everyone knows to do that. If for some reason you didn't, you can still report it later but the odds of an arrest diminish with time.
