Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

Say the passenger gets arrested when the police pull them over and there is a lot of the passengers things in the car. What are the drivers rights to do with the said belongings if the passenger was a near stranger and was going to jail for an unknown amoint of time?

If you actually want an answer you have to tell a lawyer what happened. Who got arrested? For what? What things were taken? Since you chose to leave out every detail you won't get any answers. By the way there's no such thing as a near stranger.
