Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

I was recently charged with a disorderly house in GA. I called 911 because of a domestic dispute where my live-in b/f was slapping me. This is the second time I called the police for this issue the last time was on 4/23, the result being that he had to leave the house for the rest of the night. My b/f unplugged the phone on me when I was on the phone with the dispatcher, so I ran outside and the police were pulling up in the yard. Immediatly, the responding officers asked where my b/f was at, I told them "In the house". They called in the house and got him to come out and he was sitting on the step speaking with one officer while I was in the driveway speaking with another. The police then said that there are no marks on me so there is no proof that he hit me and that they "might as well just take us both to jail and put my kids in foster care". So, I did get upset with that response and told them that they have no reason to take my kids and to stop giving out false threats. One of the officers proceeded to cuff me and eventually arrested him as well and we were both charged with disorderly household. On the citation, the officer cites 2 other times that the sheriffs dept have been to our house, one on 4/23 (for the domestic dispute) and 5/17 (We just got custody of his other son and his ex likes to call welfare checks on the child like every other week. Nothing came of it, I was at home with the boys and they were in bed sleeping it was about 11:30pm). I do not feel like this is a justifiable arrest. Can you please let me know what you think?
