My son was charged in Woodstock Ga with trespassing. What type of charge is this and what is the usual punishment? He is 21 years old.

Trespassing is a misdemeanor with a maximum penalty of $1000 and 12 months in jail. In addition, if convicted he may have a permanent criminal record that may prevent him from obtaining some jobs. Please feel free to give me a call for a free consultation.
