Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

My younger cousins, boyfriend, and I got caught for sneaking into 6 Flags over Georgia. We were told that we would be band for a year and given a civil demand to pay. This all happened in the middle of July. My boyfriend got his letter but the rest of us haven't received ours. We gave correct addresses and everything. What happens if I don't receive the civil demand? Will they contact me about it? Will there be more consequences for me if I don't contact them about it? What if we don't pay it? What will happen?

Before you can obtain a civil judgment against another person you have to give the "defendant" notice. Typically this is achieved through serving someone with a formal complaint and ultimately proving allegations before a judge or jury. Be that as it may, in certain criminal cases, defendants plead guilty to crimes and offenses and within their plea they also address issues of restitution (@ restitution hearing). From the facts you provided, it is not clear whether you are in the first or second category. If you are unsure about what steps you need to take to protect your finances and/or reputation moving forward, it is advisable to hire a lawyer or to at least get some consultation regarding your case.
