Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Georgia

Can you leave home at 17 in georgia? See i am about to turn 17 and I want to leave home. I have a place to stay, I will be cared for, and I will still be going to school. The person I want to stay with is 18 or over. I'm worried my parents will try to stop me. Can they?
