Re: under age drinking

In Georgia, there is no usual punishment. If this is a first conviction with no operation of a vehicle involved, the maximum sentence is six months in jail and/or a $300 fine. In most instances, there is no incarceration on a first offense.

If the minor was also in operation of a vehicle, there can also be a driver's license suspension.
