Don't police roadblocks have to be published?

I was under the impression that police roadblocks have to be published in newspapers in order to be legal. Is this true? If not, why and where do these published reports appear?

Police roadblocks in Georgia have to be marked as such, but there is no requirement that they have to be published in the newspaper.
