Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I'm 18 and trying to move out of my mother's house but she's threatening to take my daughter away if I try to, can she take my daughter even though I'm 18?

You're an adult. You move out by walking out the front door. And no, she can't kidnap your child; that's a felony. But do think about whether burningyour bridges at age 18 is smart. Just because you can and just because she made a ridiculous threat doesn't mean moving is a good idea.
