Contact a local attorney ASAP, so that you can get her served with papers before she leaves. You want to legitimate the child and also ask for custody. If you would like to discuss this with me, feel free to give me a call. I am in Gwinnett County.

If this were not an emergency, you could handle the legitimation and custody issues alone. However, in this situation, you need an attorney to protect your custody and visitaton rights. Also, because she may leave the state shortly, you shouldn't hestitate.

I handle these matters and am available to discuss your case with you.
