Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I am in the beginning stages of divorce talk. My wife and I are wanting to agree on everything and then bring said agreement to our lawyers for review. We want shared custody for both of our kids. She stated that she only wants a list of items from the house and child support. Other than a parenting play, what else is needed? Is this a good course of action since we are in agreement?

My second question is, what are the odds of me getting this deal if I drag my feet and go to court? I am deployed right now, and she does not want to wait. She wants this done ASAP. I would prefer to wait until I am home but do not want to risk a custody battle for my kids.

Thanks,

Chris
