Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Ex wants braces on son 3 months before child support and insurance order is to end.Divorce decree states I will maintain Insurance coverage and split any other medical bills with ex 50/50.

My question is, will i be responsible for half the cost after the child support insurance order has been met?

No one who has not read the exact wording of thedecree language could answer it. The answer also may depend on how the dentist writes up hisbilling (in other words if he sets the total but allows payments over time the answer may be different than if no total is given now). If it's ambiguous, a judge is likely, if you were in court, to interpret it in the way that gets it paid. I should add that given the cost of braces, it would be an awful thing to do to the child not to maintain insurance and pay for it regardless of the legalities, but I am focusing on the legal answer, which is a maybe.
