Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Child wants to reverse recent change of custody

After 16 years of custody with my ex-wife, my son chose to live with me. We spent 5 months in court getting new custody and child support documents. 8 months later my son decided to switch back to his mom and undo the final court order we all agreed to. He moved to TN with his mom. Whether we battle over custody or not, am I responsible for paying her child support even though there is no current order for that? I have child expenses even though he is not living with me. Could I be forced to pay the months I have not paid anything while I prepare to argue his reverse change of custody? Can I force her to continue to pay me? Thanks.

Since all of these questions depend on the wording of your paperwork, you need to call the lawyer that represented you in the modification.
