Re: child support

There are many variables that come into play, so it is impossible to answer the question without sitting down with a lawyer and going through all of the facts and the costs of several key elements, like child care, medical expenses, other special expenses, whether there is an order for child support for the other child, and his track record of paying the child support for the other child.

Re: child support

We have an income sharing system now that we use to calculate child support. Factors such as childcare, medical insurance, etc. are also used, as well as income, to determine support. The fact that he is paying child support for two other children will affect the amount that he has to pay. It may be that he has to go back to court and change the first amount so that he is not overpaying. All this is complicated so he really needs to get a lawyer now, not later.
