Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My daughters biological father has no legal rights to her since my husband is on her birth certificate however I contacted him after our daughter turned 22 months and have allowed him to see her 3 times in a week to where now he is threatening to file for joint custody where our daughter would be forced to be with a complete stranger. I worry this could hurt her mentally as she doesn't even know who her father is hardly. Can I file for full custody with a chance of winning if I have proof that I contacted them and without doing so he wouldn't even have anything to do with her? I don't care for child support I only care for her well being. Any advice?

Fraudulently putting the wrong father on a birth certificate des not stop the father from legitimizing and seeking unless he files. But nothing could be more foolish than you going the court, as that will cause what you fear. If he files get a lawyer. Otherwise stop worrying about what he hasnt filed.
