Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Department of Family and Children services

While pursuing custody of my daughter I file a complaint with DFCS about my daughters living conditions to include the fact the see lives in a home with 13 other people in a 1968 two bedroom trailer. DFCS did nothing. While speaking with her teacher I was informed that my daughters teacher had to file my daughter as ''homeless'' because of her living conditions and still DFCS did nothing. What can I do?

Each DFCS field office has a larger office it has to answer to, so try escalating it up the ranks. You can also ask to the speak to their investigative unit to see why they have not done more. You should also keep pursuing your petition for custody of your daughter though the courts.
