After my boyfriend divorce, the judge said that I cannot be around his children for a year. I want to know what is likely to happen if his ex-wife were to get angry and want to press the issue. Do we really haveto wait that long to begin our lives together? We would like to wait six months for the children to adapt, but a year?

Assuming the Judge wrote an order saying what you say, a year means 365 days, not anything less.
