Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Need a Very Good Attorney.

Exwife had affair which brought forth--name removed--child that I am the father of record.

I have two pay child support for this child, because I belived that he was my child.I found out that this child is not mine, and I would like to get my name off the record.

Also would I be able to go after her for making--name removed--false statement to the courts about this under criminal law and find civil action against her.

Re: Need a Very Good Attorney.

There was a recent case similar to yours holding that the father must continue to pay support even though DNA proved he was not the father. However, the facts of that case may be vastly different from yours. It is not practical to investigate all the facts of your case in this type of format. You should seek a consultation with a local attorney.
