Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My husband and I adopted our granddaughter when she was a baby. Our son, the biological father, has always been a part of her life (no so much when she was young). The child in question is 15. She calls me Mom, our son Dad and my husband Grandpa.

Our son has a wonderful wife and two children now. We want to make our son the legal father of the daughter we adopted. What's the best way to go about that in the state of GA. We are living in the same county and state. We have discussed this (with our son and daughter in-law) and this is what we want to do.

Potentially, they could do an adoption. An adoption is impossible without legal counsel so start by seeking a local adoption lawyer. Since he's married, his wife needs to also adopt.
