Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Joint Custody Conflict

My ex wife and I share Joint Legal Custody of our 7 year old Daughter. We both live in Macon, Ga and have for many years. The custody papers state daughter resides with mother during school session, and I have her every weekend and all nonschool holidays. When I got her at beginning of summer, mother picked up and moved out of state, and is now telling me that shes taking our daughter and has already enrolled her in Fl schools. I am totally not in agreeance and need legal advice. Can she do this without my consent or knowledge? Or do I have a case?

Re: Joint Custody Conflict

The answer depends completely on the exact language of your paperwork, and the best person to ask would be the lawyer who represented you in the divorce, as he is familiar with the terms (and no one here of course has read them).
