Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Legal Name Change

My step-daughter (22 years old) filed the petition three weeks ago to change her last name and placed the add in the newspaper right after. She found out today from the court that they are going to drop the case because she is missing information. No one will tell her what she is missing. Please Help.

We would need to see exactly what she filed to be able to advise you, but could likely fix it for a fairly nominal fee. Have her contact iour office if she is interested. Time is posibly very important depending on the court.
