Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Am I legally divorced?

After reading an answer to a question about having sex with the spouse you are divorcing and find out it terminates the divorce proceedings in GA, would this mean that by having let my husband I was divorcing move back in and resumed a marital relationship (we lived together for a few years after that too)and only I went to the divorce hearing, that we are not legally divorced? I had no clue about this until I read this here. This was when you could be common law in GA. I am divorced ... aren't I?

Re: Am I legally divorced?

You probably need to sit down with a lawyer. Either the divorce MAY be voidable, or, if you cohabitated while Georgia still had common law marriages, that might be treated as a new marriage between the two of you.
