moving out of state with child custody

I have a ex wife that is saying she is moving out of state .does she have to go to the court to tell and let them know she is moving bc i dont agree with the visitation i get to see him every other weekend and now i wont get to see him that much she said in ga i was wondering what and where can i find the laws saying the person who has child custody has to tell the court they are moving out of state bc i want to get the child support lowered also bc i wont even get to see him and plus my income has changed it went down please if you can steer me in the right direction and 1 more if she moves out of state and dotn tell the court what can happen to her bc i want the visitaiotn changed if she is moving so it wont be convient on her when she wants to bring him here and so on thanks have a good day

You may have a basis for changing the visitation, the child support (because of increased expenses you will have to visit with the child), or even custody. You should immediately review the facts with a family law attorney to get specific advice.

Your divorce decree may control, if it addressed the issue. If it did not, you should consider a Motion to Modify. Consult with a local attorney.
