Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Paternity/Custody - Husband not the father

Long story short...my husband and I got married and wanted kids but he cannot have them (he knew this all along but didnt tell me until we had ''tried'' for months). After artificial insemination with a donor failed 7 times I got pregnant with the help of a close friend. My husband had urged me to ''just go out and get pregnant'' and tell him it was his, so I did. My husband has changed significantly and I will be seeking a divirce. I want to be with the person who fathered the baby. (This was not the intention at the time of conception, but things have changed a lot). Who will get custody of the baby? Will myself and the biological father be able to get the baby or does my husband have rights even if proven not to be the father? Thanks so much!!!

It is WAY premature to try to answer your questions. You need to consult with a local attorney. There are many factors that need to be discussed.
