Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have had to pay child-support until a few months ago when I lose my job..I tried finding work and could not, so papers were served and They judge put me in jail until I could come up with $1500 and after 3 months, friends were able to get it for me..then I had to pay $500 attorneys fee within 90 days..having no job, no money, nothing left to my name, friends came up with the $500. In the mail box day before money was due, a letter from my ex's attorney saying he had been notified that I had made no payments of child-support since my release and I had to come up with the m oney. I have no money for a lawyer, or even food as far as that goes, but my family and friends have seen to it I got what I needed as far as that is concern. I do not know where to turn, what to do and at my wits end! If he needs so much help to support our kids, why did he go and have 2 more kids with his no.2 wife? He got custody because I had no home to take them to when we first separated. I need some legal advice immediately! I believe he is trying to force me into signing away my rights. Thank you in advance. THIS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME AND I AM ASKING FREE BECAUSE I HAVE NO OTHER WAY...I HAVE NO MONEY!!!
