Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I have recently discovered that my deceased ex-spouse had retirement from a company he was employed with while we were married. We were married for 13 years. His widow is currently receiving checks from the company for his retirement. Am I qualified to receive a portion of this?

The answer would be in your divorce papers. To get his retirement, you would have to have sought it in the divorce, and you would have learned about it with normal discovery your lawyer would serve on the other party. If you don't seek it you can't do a "do-over" of your divorce later with one narrow exception. If he committed perjury in the case and lied in his responses, you might be able to sue him (or in this case his estate). Such suits are rare and you have to fit through many narrow hoops (and you would need a lawyer).
