separation and community property

Is the state of Georgia a community property state? If it is, how does this affect a separation? It is not a legal separation. It is a matter of one person moving out of a shared residence. Thank you for any information you may be able to share.

Georgia in not a community property state. It is an equitable distribution state, and the doctrine applies to marraiges only.
