Sister Demanding Money!
Question: I reside in Georgia. March 2015 my sister got a car in her name for me. I was obligated to give her 1400 for the car and make the monthly payments. November 2015 the computer in the car went out. I was given the run around about the car. The close to the end of December 2015 she got the car out the shop. She told me the only way I could get it back if I paid her for getting it out the shop. I demanded my money back and she said I wasn't going to get neither back. Now she is demanding cancelled car insurance but refusing to give me my down payment back.
Was she right to keep the car and the down payment? Am I obligated to pay for November and December car insurance if the insurance was cancelled?
