Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Can spouse use adultery as grounds for divorce after learning of the affair, and then deciding to continue to work on the marriage? In a sense forgiving, trying to get back together for a year, then giving up and use the original adultery as grounds. The offening spouse has been totally faithful since.

Adultery that causes a separation or divorce is a grounds for divorce. So where the adultery is forgiven as it was here, it is no longer usable as a grounds for divorce. In that most divorces are no-fault in Georgia that may matter less than you may think.
