Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

i would like to know if the state has custody of ur grand child. is their anyway that the garndparents can get the child put into their custody. until the parents are finished with what the state requires of them. or can the parents sign custody over to the grandparents while the child is in state custody.as we would like to get our grandchild with his family members.

If you had gotten a lawyer when their case was going on, you certainly could have applied for custody. Your chances would have depended on the facts of the case.

No the parents cannot sign over anything if the state has custody. Whether you can file anything versus the state now depends on information you have not provided and you should discuss that with your lawyer.
