Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My step daughter has a cat that is destructive. I told her she can not bring it to the house. She got mad and tried to strike me. She is in college but is coming home in a few weeks to live, and said she is bringing cat. I said no. She will no doubt get violent when i let the cat out of the house. What are my options. She is 22. Her mothers sides with her.

You can (a) kill the cat, (b) get a restrainng order or (c) get a divorce .
