Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Support for children over the age of 18

I live in the state of Pennyslvania and my ex lives in the state of Georgia. I currently have to follow Georgia laws becuase of interstate support issues. I am wondering if Georgia honors support for children over the age of 18. I have a daughter that will turn 18 half way through her senior year. Will I be eligible to collect child support for her? My daughter will also attend college locally and live at home, is there any guidlines for support during these years since I will obviously be supporting her?? Thanks for your help.

I am assuming your divorce was in GA. If so, your ex will be responsible for child support for whatever time frame is specified in your final decree, e.g., "until the child turns 18", "until she finishes high school", etc. It could even state that child support is to be paid through age 22 to cover college.
