Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Typo in divorce decree

If there is a typo in a section of the divorce decree, i.e, the word should be cohabitate and the lawyer typed cohabit, does that make that section void? The sentence in question doesn't make sense.

Someone would need to read the whole decree to answer your question. Swapping those two words probably would not confuse most people as to the meaning.

If the meaning of the provision with the typo is clearly understood, then it wouldnt be void and would be enforceable.
